The German journalist and television presenter Verena Wriedt studied Media Studies & Public Relations in Exeter and Broadcast Journalism in Boston. In 1993, she began her career as an assistant at Norddeutscher Rundfunk. This was followed by an assistantship at VIVA before she began working on various productions at ProSiebenSat.1 Media in 2000. Since 2003, she has presented numerous programmes such as "SPOT ON", "Tempo - Das Automagazin", "STARS and Stories" and "MM - Das Männermagazin" and participated in shows such as "The next Uri Geller" and "Bully sucht die starken Männer". She is currently a presenter on "DTM Kompakt" and "PS-Das Automagazin". Wriedt is an ambassador for Kinderschutzengel and for the SOS Children's Villages.
